SHANGHAI (Jan. 23,2024)- Prologis, Inc., the global leader in logistics real estate, today announced that Eddie Huang has joined the company as president of Greater China. Huang will be based in Shanghai and report to Prologis President Dan Letter.

“We’re excited about Eddie joining our company,” said Letter. “China offers tremendous growth opportunity, and Eddie’s background and experience will help Prologis both expand our footprint and deepen relationships with customers, investors, government and other important external stakeholders.”

With nearly three decades of business experience, Huang brings a strong background in transportation, supply chain and facilities management. Previously, he served as chief strategy officer and assistant CEO of SF Group, where he was responsible for the company’s strategy formulation and implementation.

“I am delighted to be joining Prologis,” said Huang. “It is a known industry leader with a tremendous team in the market. Given Prologis’ scale and history of innovation, the growth opportunity is exciting.”

Huang held a variety of senior leadership roles at SF Group since joining in 2016 and played a key role in the company’s financial growth. Prior to joining SF Group, he spent 13 years with McKinsey & Company. While there, he opened and led their first new office in China in more than 15 years (Shenzhen), which he built into McKinsey’s second largest consultancy office in China.

Huang received a B.S. from the prestigious Shanghai Jiao Tong University, and an MBA degree from CEIBS (China Europe International Business School). He is also an Aspen fellow.

Prologis has approximately 57 million square feet (5.3 million square meters) of industrial property in China. It also has China-based private investment funds, including the Prologis China Core Logistics Fund.
