Chengdu, a core city of the Chengdu-Chongqing economic circle in Southwest China

Chengdu, the capital of Sichuan province, plays a key role in the Chengdu-Chongqing Twin-City Economic Circle as a trade, logistics and integrated transportation hub in the region. Chengdu, as a populous city in West China, sees a growing number of high spending groups. It is also the economic and financial center of Southwest China and one of the key gateways to the country’s interior.

Revolving around the guiding principle of “stressing both quality and quantity”, the city will move faster to make breakthroughs in 14 industries, such as electronic information, automobile, rail transportation, aeronautics and astronautics, biomedicine, and smart manufacturing.
