Wuhan, the capital of Hubei Province, is located in the eastern part of the Jianghan Plain and the middle reaches of the Yangtze River. It is also a political, economic, financial, cultural and educational center in the middle of China.
Known as the “thoroughfare of China”, Wuhan is the largest inland water, land and air transportation hub and shipping terminal in the middle reaches of the Yangtze River, with its high-speed rail network reaching out to most of China.
