The Zhengzhou Airport Economy Zone (ZAEZ) has gained strong economic momentum and industrial vitality, serving the three leading industries of aviation logistics, high-end manufacturing and modern services.
The Prologis Zhengzhou Airport Logistics Center has been opened. It will act as a powerful anchor and driver of logistics and storage efficiency.
01 Enabling efficient flow of goods
Thanks to its strategic location in the ZAEZ, the logistics center surrounded by logistics companies is able to meet the needs of customers for diversified logistics formats, such as urban distribution, integrated warehousing and distribution, and logistics distribution.
The Prologis industrial park is advantageously located. Being 8 kilometers away from the Xinzheng International Airport and close to downtown Zhenzhou, it enjoys quick access to the Shangqiu-Dengfeng Expressway and the Beijing-Hong Kong & Macao Expressway. With its convenient location, it enables customers to establish a closer connection with end consumers.
In addition, the park is also only 2 kilometers away from the Zhengzhou Hangkonggang Railway Station (formerly known as Zhengzhou South Station).
Covering North China, the Zhengzhou-based center will move faster to expand its reach in biomedicine, e-commerce, aviation logistics, food processing and other fields, providing customers with more efficient logistics and warehousing services.
02 High-standard warehousing infrastructure contributes to customers’ sustainable development agendas
All warehouses at the 267,839 sqm logistics center are 5A-grade double-story buildings with loading ramps. Phase I and Phase II of the center includes 6 multi-story warehouses with a net height of 9 meters for the first level and 10 meters for the second level. Each warehouse is divided into multiple units to meet the individual needs of customers for warehouse space and storage
The Prologis logistics center is designed with 4.5 meters wide platforms and 35-50 meters wide transit spaces. It also provides 324 parking lots. The design guarantees the orderly entry and exit of vehicles, improves warehouse efficiency, and avoids traffic congestion during peak hours, while minimizing operation costs.
There are four fire protection zones on each warehouse floor. In addition, advanced fire alarms, ESFR sprinklers and smoke extraction systems lower the risk of electrical fires at the park.
The park also adopts a high-standard lighting belt system and uses LED light sources to save energy. The 53 vehicle charging stations installed at the site allow tenants to charge their electric vehicles in a cost-effective manner.
03 More storage facilities are put in place to exceed customer expectations
The Zhengzhou project is another example of how Prologis puts the needs of its customer at the heart of everything it does. The application of digital and intelligent technology improves warehouse efficiency and brings peace of mind to customers. The park is also staffed with a dedicated property service team to provide one-stop professional and efficient services for enterprises leasing warehouse space.
The park’s adjacency to several housing estates, supermarkets and shopping centers makes it convenient for employees to commute to and from work and enjoy leisure activities.
The recently launched logistics center will further promote the development of industrial clusters in this area. The park is also well-positioned to empower the development of industrial supply chains in Zhengzhou and the broader North China area while continuously expanding the influence of Prologis China in the region.
